My grandfather started this business a long time ago. We are over at Jothi Nagar in Kothirampur. Most days involve just sorting through stock and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a busy spot near 73-59. People from around here know us well because we've been here for years. We handle all sorts of supplies. The morning starts with opening the heavy shutters early when the sun is just coming up. It gets pretty dusty on the road sometimes, but that’s just how it is. We keep busy by checking the ledgers and talking to people who walk in. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to stay open a bit longer to get everything unloaded and tucked away inside. It's not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. We know most of the neighbors by their first names. If you walk past the corner, you’ll see us there. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything. The shelves are mostly full of the stuff people need every day. My brother helps out on the weekends when things get a bit more crowded. We try to keep the place organized, but it’s a lot of work given how much inventory moves through here. It feels like home because I’ve spent most of my life within these four walls. We just keep going, day after day, doing what we know how to do.
