If you head out to Chengam and look for Melvannakkambadi, you’ll eventually find us at 483, East Kolla Kottai. That is where Sathesri Agro Products Private Limited is based. We aren't a big factory with smoke and sirens. We are a small-scale operation focused on agro products. The area is mostly rural, so we are surrounded by the very things we work with. Our days are spent checking on the quality of the goods and making sure everything is stored properly. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving sacks and checking equipment. We don't have a corporate structure with levels of management. We just have a few of us who know how to get the job done. The East Kolla Kottai area is where we live and work, so we care about what happens here. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or bad roads, but we find a way around it. It’s a practical life. We don't go in for fancy branding or slogans. We just try to produce decent agro products that people can actually use. The office is simple, with just the basics needed to keep the business running. We’ve been here for some time now, and we’ve learned that the best way to do things is just to keep your head down and work hard. It is a long day usually, but we are used to it.
