You can find us at 122 K K Road in Venkatapuram, right here in Ambattur. If you like fish and tanks, this is where we spend all our time. The shop is usually a bit humid because of all the water, and there is always the sound of air pumps running in the background. We have been keeping aquariums for years. It started as a hobby and just turned into this. We spend a lot of our day cleaning glass and checking on the livestock. It’s not always pretty—we get wet sleeves and dirty hands constantly. We carry a mix of different fish and plants, whatever we can get that looks healthy. People from around Ambattur stop by to chat about their own tanks or to pick up some food for their fish. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know about the water chemistry and the different species. Sometimes we lose a few fish or a tank leaks, and that’s a bad day, but we manage. It’s a small, local place and we like it that way. We aren't trying to be a massive chain store. We just want to provide what the local fish keepers need. If the door is open, we’re probably in the back scrubbing a tank. We don't have a marketing budget or fancy uniforms. We just have our fish and our experience. We enjoy the quiet life here on K K Road even when things get a bit messy.
