Bois Technologies (I) Ltd.

Out in Mathervedu, specifically at Plot No.2-A on Othavadai Street, is where we set up our shop. It’s in the Velappan Chavadi area, which used to be a lot quieter than it is now. Our building is a simple concrete structure with a few windows that look out onto the street. We do a lot of technical work here, so you’ll see benches covered in wires, components, and soldering irons. There is usually a pot of coffee going in the corner because we stay late a lot. It’s not a very big place, so we have to be careful about where we put things. The shelves are labeled, but sometimes the labels fall off. We have a small crew of people who have been with us since the start. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, so most of us come in on scooters. The street can get a bit muddy when it rains, and we’re always mopping the floor to keep the mud away from the equipment. We don't have any fancy posters or awards on the walls, just a calendar and some old circuit diagrams pinned up. It’s a practical space where we focus on the task at hand. We like it here because it’s out of the main city rush but still close enough to get what we need. Sometimes the local kids play cricket right outside our gate, and we have to watch out when we're moving the vehicles.
