Wiseman Exports

Out here in Nallur, things are a bit different than the middle of the city. Wiseman Exports is based at No. 98/1 Mullai Nagar on Kasipalayam Road. It’s a bit of a dusty stretch but it works fine for what we do. We mostly deal with exporting goods and that means we spend a lot of time on the phone or checking our emails to see where things are. The office is pretty simple with just the basic furniture and a few fans to keep the air moving during the heat of the afternoon. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a fancy front office or expensive chairs. We just want to make sure the orders are packed right and the trucks show up when they are supposed to. Sometimes we have to stay late when a big shipment is going out. The local area is quiet enough which we like. We know the people around here and they know us as the folks who handle the export stuff for the neighborhood. It’s a lot of back and forth with suppliers and making sure the quality is what it needs to be. We’ve had our share of mistakes over the years but that’s how you learn the ropes in this business. It is hard work and sometimes it gets stressful when deadlines are tight. But at the end of the day, it’s a living and we take pride in just doing the job without a lot of fuss.
