Amara Exports

Out here in Periandipalayam Post, things move a bit differently. We are located at No. 2/525 in Hrhk Nagar, just off Mangalam Road. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, which actually suits us okay. Amara Exports is just a bunch of us working in this space, trying to keep up with the orders. The building isn’t much to talk about, just a solid place where we keep our stuff. We have plenty of room for packing, which is a good thing because things can get messy quite fast. Mangalam Road can be quiet one minute and then full of trucks the next. We mostly focus on the export side of the business, which involves a lot of sitting at desks and then a lot of lifting boxes. It is a mix of both. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. Word usually gets around locally. We’ve got a couple of ceiling fans that work too hard in the heat, and there is always a stack of paperwork that never seems to get shorter. That is just life at the office. We like being in this part of town because it feels real. No one is trying to impress anyone else. We just do the work, pack the goods, and make sure they get to where they are supposed to go. Usually, we end the day tired, but it is a good kind of tired. Most of our neighbors are also busy with their own trade, so we fit right in.
