Aki Exports

Aki Exports is tucked away at No. 65 in Kavandampalayam. We are near Kadaiyur Post, out by Kangayam. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it’s a good location for what we do. We handle exports for various products that come through this region. Living and working around Kangayam means we are close to the source of many goods. We started this business because we saw a need for local products to reach other places. It’s not always easy, especially with all the paperwork involved in shipping things abroad. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we keep our logs and take calls. We have a small team of people from the local area. We don't go in for big marketing speeches or anything like that. We just tell people what we can do and then we do it. Sometimes the weather out here makes things difficult for transport, but we usually find a way around it. We spend a lot of time talking to people and producers in the surrounding villages. It feels good to help move local items to different markets. We’ve been at No. 65 for quite a while and have no plans to move. It’s home for us. We just keep things moving one shipment at a time and try to stay organized as best as we can without making things complicated.
