We operate Ace Overseas from No. 4 Muthusamy Street, down in the 5th Lane of Odakkadu. It’s a narrow street, so it can be a bit of a squeeze if two cars are trying to pass each other right outside. The office isn't very big, but it’s enough for the few of us who are here every day. We’ve got the walls lined with shelves to hold all the paperwork and files that seem to pile up no matter how much we try to digitize things. The furniture is a bit old, and the chairs are starting to wear out, but we’re comfortable enough. We start our day with a bit of a cleaning routine because the street dust always finds its way inside. Once that’s done, it’s mostly about checking the orders and making sure the transport is lined up. We have a lot of conversations with vendors and clients, so it gets noisy with everyone talking at once. There’s no big sign out front, just the number on the door. We don't see many visitors anyway, since most of our work is done over the phone or computer. The neighborhood in Odakkadu is pretty lively, and there's usually some music or street noise coming from the nearby houses. It's just a normal place to work. We don't use any fancy systems, just our own way of keeping things in order. It’s practical and it works for us here on Muthusamy Street.
