You can find Akila Exports over at No. 229 in Periyar Colony, right on the 1st Street off Avinashi Road. Being near Avinashi Road is really convenient because it’s a major route, but we are tucked back enough in the colony that it isn't too loud. We’ve been doing export work from this location for a long time. It’s a straightforward business. We take products and find ways to send them where they need to go, usually outside the country. There is always plenty of paperwork to fill out and phone calls to make to the port or the transport companies. We don't have a fancy corporate office with glass walls. Our place is lived-in and functional. We have a few people helping out with the loading and the admin stuff. It’s a team effort every day. Sometimes we have busy weeks where the phone never stops ringing, and other times it’s a bit slower. We take it as it comes. We aren't interested in using big words or making grand promises. We just tell you what we can do and try our best to get it done right. Periyar Colony is a good place to be based. We know the other shop owners around here. We just want to keep running our export business reliably and honestly, like we’ve always done. It’s not complicated, just hard work and attention to the shipping schedules.
