Smaart Export

Smaart Export is tucked away at 1/702 Muthaiah Nagar in the Thirukumaran Nagar Extension. This is over in K Chettipalayam. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the city center, which helps when we need to focus on our packing lists. We have a modest space here where we handle the export side of things. It’s mostly just desks, computers, and stacks of documents that seem to never end. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and making sure things are on schedule. The weather gets pretty hot in this part of the country, so we keep the fans going all day long. We started out small and stayed that way because it’s easier to manage everything ourselves. You might see us out on the porch taking a break when the sun isn't too strong. Our neighbors are mostly other small businesses or families. It’s a practical location for what we do. We don't use any big words to describe our work. We just take orders, find the goods, and send them out. Sometimes there are hiccups with the shipping lines, but we just deal with them as they come. It’s a lot of manual tracking and writing things down in ledgers. We prefer the old-school way of doing things. That’s the story of us here in Chettipalayam. We just keep moving forward.
