R. V. L. Exports

R. V. L. Exports operates out of No. 31/85 on Bharathi Nagar 1st Street. We are in the Ammapalayam area, which is part of Anupparpalayam. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of small businesses like ours. Our street is narrow, and you have to watch out for the scooters when you walk out the front door. We have been here for a while, just focusing on our export work. Usually, we are busy with samples or checking the stitching on various items before they get packed into cartons. The office isn't very big, so we have to be organized with where we put things. There is usually a stack of boxes waiting near the entrance. We drink a lot of coffee while we go through the manifests. The weather here can get quite dusty, especially during the dry season, so we are always wiping down the desks. Most of our neighbors are also in some kind of trade, so there is a lot of talk about shipping rates and container shortages over lunch. We don't really have a reception area; if you come in, you will likely just see us working at our tables. It is a straightforward way to run a business. We focus on the details of the exports and try to make sure everything is sorted out before the transport arrives. It is just the daily life of a small exporter.
