Pi Export

Down here at No. 04/77 Karuppa Goundampalayam Road, Pi Export has its small setup. It’s not a very fancy place, just a building where we get the work done every day. The road can be a bit bumpy and quiet compared to the city center, but it suits us just fine for what we do. We spend most of our time in the back area where all the crates are stored. It’s mostly just a few of us here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to helping load the trucks when they finally show up. We don't really have a front desk or a lobby, just a table with some chairs and a lot of paperwork piled up. It feels more like a workshop than an office most days. We try to stay on top of the export schedules, but sometimes the weather or the transport people have other plans. You just have to be patient and keep working through the pile. We like being out on Karuppa Goundampalayam Road because there’s a bit more space than in the middle of town. There is a small temple nearby and the atmosphere is generally relaxed even when we are busy. We don’t have any big speeches about what we do, we just pack the goods and send them where they need to go.
