Sri Selvam Exports

Our place is located at No. 51/2 Marathachalapuram 1st Street. It is right in the heart of Kumarananthapuram. Sri Selvam Exports occupies this space, and it is a very straightforward setup for us. We have the usual stuff you would expect for an export business. There are piles of bags and boxes everywhere you look. We spend most of our time making sure everything is labeled correctly before it leaves the building. The street is mostly residential, so we try not to make too much noise when the big trucks come for loading. Marathachalapuram is a familiar area for us. We know the people who live around here and they know us. The building at 51/2 is nothing fancy. It has some old paint on the walls and the windows are a bit stiff to open. Inside, it is all about the work. We have a couple of computers that are a bit slow, but they do the job for the manifests. We do not really have a reception area. If someone comes to see us, they just pull up a plastic chair and we talk. It gets quite humid in the afternoons, so we drink a lot of water and keep the fan running. We handle the shipping schedules and talk to the agents on the phone. It is a lot of repetitive tasks, but we stay on top of it. We do not have a marketing team. It is just a few of us.
