R. M. Exports

R. M. Exports is located in a place called Mettu Thottam, which is in the Meenakshipuram area of Dharapuram. Our address is No. 13. It’s a bit of a walk from the Kolinjivadi post office. We’ve been working out of this spot for a while now. It’s a fairly quiet area, which is nice for focusing on the work. We handle various local goods that we send out for export. Our building is a simple one, nothing like those modern offices you see in the big cities. We have a small area for storing things before they get sent off and a few desks for the paperwork. It’s just a handful of us working here. Sometimes the roads around here get a little rough, especially when it rains, but we make do. We don’t really use any complicated systems. We just keep our logs and make sure the orders are right. Being in Dharapuram means we are close to the sources of many products. We like the local feel of Mettu Thottam. The neighbors are good people and it feels like a community. Every day brings something different, whether it’s a new shipment to pack or a lot of calls to make. We don't try to make it sound like more than it is. It’s just a small business trying to do things properly from a humble office. We’ve stayed here because it works for us.
