Mother Export

You can find Mother Export over on Sevanthampalayam Road, right at No. 19 on the first floor. We are very close to the Vidya Karthik Kalyana hall, which makes it easy to give people directions. Most of the time, we just tell folks to look for the big wedding venue and then walk a few doors down. Being on the Dharapuram Road side of Chandrapuram means there is always a lot of traffic passing by. Our office is a bit cramped because we have samples of fabric and garments tucked into every corner. It’s a busy atmosphere with the sewing machines humming in the background sometimes. I’ve been working here for a few years now, and it’s always a race against the clock. We export a lot of the local textiles that this region is famous for. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, so we usually use a pulley system to get the heavier bundles down to the street level. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. My boss is usually out meeting with the mill owners while I stay back to handle the emails and the packing lists. We don't have any fancy brochures or a PR team. We just rely on the quality of the goods we send out. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon is quite bad, but we just keep the fans going and get through the work.
