Tdmns College

Tdmns College is situated in T. Kallikulam, which is near Valliyoor in the southern part of Tamil Nadu. It is a well-known name in this region, and almost everyone who lives nearby has some connection to it. The campus is spread out and has a lot of open ground, which is nice when there is a breeze, but it can get very hot under the sun. We have different wings for various subjects, mostly focused on arts and sciences. The buildings are built to stay cool, with high roofs and fans that never stop spinning. Students come from all over the rural areas nearby, often taking long bus rides to get here. You will see them walking in groups across the campus, carrying their bags and looking for a bit of shade under the trees. The canteen is a popular spot for a quick tea or a tiffin. We have been here for many decades, so the walls have that weathered look that comes with age. The labs have old equipment that still works perfectly fine for the experiments. It is a place that feels like it belongs to the village. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls, just the class schedules and notices about exams. It is a practical college where the focus is on giving the local youth a chance to get a degree without having to move to a big city.
