Muslim Girls Higher Secondary School

We are situated over at No 1, Mlm Nagar in the Melapalayam area of Tirunelveli. This is a higher secondary school specifically for girls, so the atmosphere is quite focused. The school has been part of this neighborhood for a long time, and you can see that in the older parts of the building. We have several floors of classrooms and a courtyard where the girls gather for their morning prayers and announcements. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, away from the heavy traffic of the city center. During the exam season, the whole place gets very serious, and you’ll see students sitting in corners with their books. We have a staff room where the teachers grade papers and have their tea.
