Devendrar College Of Physiotherapy

Devendrar College Of Physiotherapy is right on the Thoothukudi Main Road in Burkitmanagaram, Tirunelveli. Being on the main road means there is always traffic going by, but it makes it easy for the students to get here. We aren't a massive university campus, but we have what is needed for teaching physiotherapy. We have rooms set up with treatment tables and equipment where the students can practice their techniques. Most of the people teaching here are experienced in the field, so they know the practical side of things, not just what is in the books. It’s a lot of hands-on work. You’ll see students helping each other out, trying to figure out the right way to do a stretch or a movement. The atmosphere is quite busy. We have people coming in and out all day. It’s a bit of a trek from the main part of Tirunelveli city, but the bus connections are decent enough. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just focus on the classes and making sure the students know how to help people move better. It’s a serious place because the work is important, but it’s also friendly. Everyone knows everyone else because we aren't that big. We just keep our heads down and do the work of training the next group of physiotherapists. The building itself is simple and we try to keep it organized for the classes.
