Ywca Matriculation School

Our school is located at No.1, Tolgate, right near the Bikshandarkoil area in Trichy. It’s a very busy spot with all the traffic coming through the tollgate, so there’s always something happening right outside our doors. The Ywca has had a presence here for a long time, and the school is a big part of that history. It’s not a huge, sprawling campus, but we make good use of the space we have. The classrooms are filled with the sound of kids reciting their lessons, and you can hear the chatter from the hallways during the lunch break. We keep things simple here. There are no big fancy slogans or corporate ideas. We just open the gates in the morning and do our jobs until the final bell rings in the afternoon. The building itself is an older one, which means it has some character, even if it needs a bit of paint every now and then. Our teachers are mostly local women who have a lot of experience and don't mind the hard work of managing a classroom full of energetic children. We have a small yard where the students can run around, and we try to keep it as clean as possible despite being so close to the main road. It’s a practical, local school for the families living in and around Bikshandarkoil, and we’ve been happy to be part of the community for all these years.
