We are located at No 283/1 on Mettupalayama Road, right in the Valikondapuram area of Perambalur. It’s a CBSE school, so the days are usually filled with the standard curriculum and a lot of textbook work. The building is easy to spot from the main road, and there’s a gate where parents drop off their kids every morning. The traffic on Mettupalayama Road can get a bit loud, but once you’re inside the classrooms, it’s mostly just the sound of teachers talking and pens scratching on paper. We have the usual setup with desks, chairs, and blackboards. During the breaks, the playground gets quite noisy with students running around and playing. The staff room is often cluttered with stacks of notebooks waiting to be corrected. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or corporate. We’re just a local school providing a place for children in Perambalur to study. The sun gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going in every room. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to open the windows and carry on. It’s a lot of routine work, from the morning assembly to the final bell. We see the same faces every day, from the local shopkeepers nearby to the regular bus drivers. Running a school like Jyothi Vidyalaya keeps everyone on their toes, but we just take it one day at a time without much fuss.
