Mother India Public School

We are over at No 264, on the 2nd Cross Main Street in Uyyakondanthirumalai. It is a bit of a mouthful to say, but for those of us living in Trichy, it is just home. The school is right in the middle of a residential area, which makes it feel very much like a part of the community. We have kids coming in from all the nearby streets. The building isn't anything fancy, just a two-story structure with enough room for the classes we run. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many students running around, there is always a bit of wear and tear. That is just how it goes with a public school. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the kids are actually learning something they can use. There is no big mission statement on the wall, just the usual school rules and maybe a few posters about science or history. The teachers here have been with us for a long time, so they know the families well. It’s the kind of place where you can just walk in and talk to someone if you have a question. We like the quiet pace of this street, away from the main city noise of Trichy. It is just a regular school doing its part for the local kids in the 620102 area. We just keep things moving along every day for the families.
