We are located in Bikshandarkoil Village, specifically at No.2/558 on East Street. Manachanallur is quite a busy area for rice and other crops, and we are right in the mix of it. Our group is made up of local people from the village. We aren't some big outside company. We are just the folks who live down the road. The office is a regular building on East Street where we handle the business of the farm producer company. It gets busy during certain times of the year when everyone is harvesting at once. We spend a lot of time organizing things so that the farmers don't have to worry about every single detail. It’s hard to keep everything straight sometimes with so many members, but we do our best. We don't use big words or business talk. We just say things as they are. If a crop is bad, we talk about it. If the prices are low, we try to figure out a plan. Trichy is a big city nearby, but out here in the village, life is different. It’s slower but the work is physically harder. We stay focused on the daily needs of our members. That’s why we opened this place. It gives us a spot to meet and work out our problems together. It’s just a practical way to survive in this industry. The East Street office is always open for a chat. We think it’s important to stay connected with the people who actually grow the food.
