Aindhinai Farmers Producer Company

We’ve been working out of this spot on Thuraiyur Main Road for a while now. It’s right there in Soriyampatti, near M.Pudhupatti. To be honest, most days it’s just a lot of talk about the weather and the crops. Aindhinai Farmers Producer Company isn't some fancy corporate setup. It’s a group of us who live around Musiri Taluk trying to get by. We meet at 1/76A when we need to discuss things. The office is small, and usually, there’s a lot of mud on the floor from people coming in from the fields. We grew up here in Tiruchirappalli and know how the soil acts during the dry months. It gets really hot out there. People stop by to ask about seeds or how to handle the latest pests. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. If someone is there, they’ll talk to you. Sometimes we’re all out back or at the markets. It’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with land. There are plenty of challenges, like the price of diesel or the lack of rain, but we keep showing up. A few years back, we realized trying to handle the markets alone was just too much, so we got this group together. It isn’t perfect, and we argue sometimes about the best way to do things, but we’re all in the same boat here in the village. This isn't about being big, it's about making sure our families have enough to get through next year.
