You can find Jayam Export at Np:35, right on the Main Road in Thathamangalam. It’s a central spot, so we see everyone passing by. The office is right there where the action is. We deal with exports, which means we spend a lot of time on the phone and checking lists. It’s a small operation, just a couple of rooms. We don't have a big fancy lobby. If you walk in, you’re basically in the middle of the work. We have stacks of boxes sometimes waiting to be moved. Thathamangalam is a nice place to be based. The people are friendly and we know most of our neighbors. We’ve been at this address for a good while now. We don't really do the whole professional corporate look. We wear regular clothes and just focus on the orders. Sometimes things get delayed at the docks and we have to scramble. That’s just the way it goes. We try to keep a cool head and just work through the problems. The Main Road is always loud, but we like being where things are happening. We have a small radio in the corner that’s usually playing something. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of place. We just do our work, talk to our suppliers, and try to have a good day.
