Tniamp 2019-20 - Trichy Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are over at 3/15 North Udaiyar Street in Kilakurichi. This is a place in Trichy where a few of us started Tniamp 2019-20 Trichy Farmer Producer Company Limited. It’s been going since that time frame in the name. We mostly just look at what the folks around Tiruchirappalli are doing and see how we can work together. It is not a huge corporate office, just a small spot where we meet up to discuss the crops and what to do for the season. People around here know the street well. Most of us grew up in this area or nearby villages. We saw that it was getting hard to handle everything alone, so we joined up. It is mostly about the work on the ground. We have been doing this for a few years now, and the office stays pretty busy when it is time to harvest or sow. We don't have fancy brochures or anything. We just talk to the people who come by. If you walk down North Udaiyar Street, you will find us. We handle the paperwork and the distribution right from here. It is a practical setup for the local agricultural community. We spend a lot of time talking to the members about their yields and what the weather is doing. It’s a lot of manual work and checking on things in the fields, then coming back here to organize. That is basically how we operate every day. It's nothing special, just farming.
