Thaai Restaurant

Thaai Restaurant is part of the Shaans Hotel on Tennur High Road in Trichy. It’s a pretty easy place to find if you’re heading down the main road through the Tennur area. We’ve been a part of the hotel for quite some time now. It's mostly locals who come in for a meal, along with the travelers staying at the hotel upstairs. The kitchen is always a bit noisy with the sounds of pans and orders being shouted out. We don't have a big corporate office or a marketing team. It’s just us, the cooks, and the servers trying to get through the shift. We focus on the food we know how to make best. Some mornings start really early for us to get all the vegetables chopped and the spices ready for the lunch crowd. Tennur is a busy part of Trichy, so there’s always something going on outside our windows. We like being here because we get to see the same faces every week. It’s a simple setup, nothing too flashy or modern. We just try to make sure the food tastes right and that the tables are wiped down for the next person. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded during the local holidays, but we manage to get through it. If you’re driving through Tennur, you’ll see the Shaans Hotel sign, and we’re right there inside. It’s just a straightforward place to eat without any unnecessary fuss.
