You will find us on Pandamangalam Road in the Woriyur area of Trichy. It is a busy part of town, so there is always some noise from the street. The school building is an older one, but it is sturdy and serves us well. We have a courtyard where the kids gather for their morning assembly. It gets pretty hot in Trichy, so we make sure the fans are always running in the classrooms. We do not have any of that fancy marketing talk here. We just teach the subjects and make sure the students follow the rules. The teachers have been here for years and they know the families in the neighborhood. Some of the desks have scratches on them, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it’s a real school. We focus on the books and getting the kids ready for their exams. There is no point in pretending to be something we are not. We are just a local school for the people living around Woriyur. During the lunch break, it gets very loud with all the kids playing outside. We just manage the daily schedule and try to keep things organized. It is hard work, but we are used to the routine by now. Sometimes the gate gets stuck in the rain, but we just fix it and keep going.
