Sri Sai Kalpavriksha Vegetable Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group, Sri Sai Kalpavriksha Vegetable Farmers Producer Company Limited, is located in Govind Sai Puram, which is part of U Puram Village. We are out near Udedurgam, close to the Nagamangalam Post. We are mostly a bunch of vegetable growers who decided it was better to work as a team than to try and do everything alone. Growing vegetables is a fast business because things wilt if you don't move them quickly. So, our days are usually a bit of a rush to get the picking and sorting done. We meet up at our spot in Govind Sai Puram to talk about what we are planting next and how to get the trucks loaded. It’s not a polished business office. There are usually crates stacked everywhere and the floor might have some mud from someone’s boots. We are just real people who know the soil in this part of the village. It’s hard work, especially when the bugs get into the crops or the rain doesn't come when it’s supposed to. We don't use big words or have fancy goals. We just want to sell our tomatoes, beans, and whatever else is in season so we can keep our farms running. It’s a community effort, and we all know each other’s families.
