Sri Ram Nursery & Primary School

Sri Ram Nursery & Primary School is located on South Street in Sendurai, Ariyalur. If you're looking for the door, it’s Old No. 7/58 or New No. 64. We’re in the 621714 area. This is a small school for the younger kids in the village and surrounding spots. We have a nursery section for the little ones and primary classes for the slightly older kids. The building is just a regular house that was converted into a school long ago. It’s got a small play area that’s mostly just dirt and some simple equipment, but the kids don’t seem to mind at all. We have a few teachers who live right here in Sendurai, so everyone knows each other. It’s a very close-knit kind of place. We don’t have air conditioning or fancy digital boards. We use books, slates, and chalk for our lessons. Sometimes the chickens from the neighbor's yard wander near the fence, and you can hear the general village sounds all day. We just focus on teaching the kids their ABCs, numbers, and basic manners. It’s important to us that the local families have a place nearby where they can send their children for a basic education. We aren’t a big chain or anything, just a small local school on South Street. We’ve been here for many years, seeing brothers and sisters from the same families come through our classes one after another. Every morning we ring the bell and the day starts just like that.
