Vedha Varshini Kids Play School

This play school is tucked away in Kattur, which is part of Trichy. If you know the area, it's pretty easy to find. We mostly deal with very small children, so the place is usually full of toys and bright colors. It can get pretty loud during the play sessions, but that’s just how it is with kids. We started this because there was a need for a place in the neighborhood where parents could drop their little ones off for a few hours. The rooms are set up with mats and small chairs. We spend most of our time wiping hands, helping with snacks, and making sure nobody trips over a block. It’s a lot of work, but it keeps us busy. The building is just a regular house that we converted for the school. We have a small outdoor area, but the kids mostly stay inside where it’s cooler. Most of the families live within walking distance, so we see the same faces every morning at the gate. We don't use any complicated teaching methods, just basic activities and games to keep them occupied. Sometimes we have little events for festivals, which the kids seem to enjoy. It’s a simple setup. We focus on getting through the day without too many scraped knees. It’s just a small, local spot for the families in Kattur to rely on. We make sure the water bottles are filled and the kids are happy.
