Ponnambalampatti Primary School

Down in Nadupatti, things are usually pretty quiet, which makes Ponnambalampatti Primary School a bit of a hub for the local families. We’re in the 621315 area of Trichy, tucked away in a place where everyone kind of knows each other. Being a primary school, we deal with the really young kids, so there is always a bit of noise during recess. The building isn't anything special, just a solid place where we can fit the classes. We spend our mornings waiting for the kids to walk in from the nearby houses. It’s a simple life out here. We don't have the big city distractions you might find in the middle of Trichy. Sometimes we have to deal with things like a leaky pipe or a door that won't shut right, just like any other house or building in the village. The playground is where the kids spend most of their energy, and we just stand by and watch. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. Most people find us because their neighbors' kids come here. We just focus on getting through the lessons and making sure everyone gets home safe when the bell rings. It’s a lot of walking and talking, and by the end of the day, we’re all pretty tired, but it’s what we do. It’s just a small school in a small place.
