S R Nursery & Primary School

Down here in Pullambadi, specifically on Ayyanar Street at number 33, you’ll find S R Nursery & Primary School. It’s a small place, really. We mostly deal with the younger kids who are just starting out. Trichy is a big area, but our little corner here is a bit more personal. You can hear the children playing and practicing their lessons if you’re walking down the street. The building is simple and doesn’t have much in the way of decoration, but it serves the purpose. Most of the families living nearby send their little ones here because it’s convenient. We have the usual nursery stuff, blocks and books, and the primary classes follow after that. It gets a bit loud in the afternoons when school lets out and the parents come to pick up their children. Everyone knows each other on Ayyanar Street, so there’s a lot of nodding and saying hello. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. It’s just a local school for local kids. The desks are a bit old, and the walls might need a fresh coat of paint soon, but the kids don’t seem to mind much. They’re too busy learning how to read and write. We spend our days making sure they stay on track with their lessons. It’s honest work and it keeps the staff busy from morning until the last kid heads home.
