Tenderfeet Pre School

We are Tenderfeet Pre School, and you can find us over on 1st Cross West in Thillai Nagar, which is a fairly quiet part of Trichy compared to the main roads. The school is set up in a way that feels more like a house because that’s what works for the little ones who come here. We have different rooms for playing and napping, and there are always toys scattered around on the floor by the time lunch rolls around. The morning starts with parents dropping off their toddlers, and sometimes there are a few tears, but usually, they settle down once they see their friends. We have some small tables and chairs that fit the kids just right. Our days are mostly about singing songs, messy finger painting, and learning how to share things without arguing. The staff spends a lot of time cleaning up spills or helping kids tie their shoelaces. Outside, there is a small area where they can run around for a bit if the weather isn't too hot. We don’t use any complicated teaching methods, just basic things that help the children get used to being away from home for a few hours. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood outside, like the occasional milkman or someone honking their horn on the next street over. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us on our toes all day long. By the afternoon, the kids are usually tired and ready to go home, leaving the rooms quiet.
