Sri Bala Tiffin Centre

We are Sri Bala Tiffin Centre, located at No.2 vadaku eda theru in the Puthur area of Trichy. We are right near the Salai pillaiyar kovil, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. This is a small tiffin center, the kind of place where people stop by for a quick breakfast or a light evening snack. We don't have a lot of room, just a couple of tables and a small counter. My family and I run the place ourselves. We wake up very early to start the steaming for the idlis and to get the chutney ready. It’s a simple routine that we’ve followed for years now. Puthur is a nice neighborhood, and we know most of our customers by name since they live just a few streets away. We don't do anything complicated here. We just make the basic tiffin items that everyone likes. Sometimes we have a bit of a queue in the morning when people are heading to work, but we try to move as fast as we can. The building is old and nothing fancy, but we keep the kitchen clean and the food fresh. We don’t have any big signs or advertisements. People just know we are here at No.2. It’s a quiet way to make a living, but we enjoy being part of the community here in Trichy. We just keep the steamer going every morning.
