Sri Amman Tiffin Centre

We are located at Therku Iadai street in Puthur, Trichy. Our tiffin centre is right near the Business School. It’s been here for quite some time now. Every morning starts early around 5 AM to get the stove going. We serve mostly the morning and evening crowds. It’s a small place, nothing fancy at all. There are just a few tables and benches for people to sit. Most people just stand and eat or take their parcels and go. We do the cooking ourselves with some help from family. The menu is very basic. We make idli, dosa, and a few other things that locals like. We buy our vegetables and spices from the market just down the road every day. This keeps everything feeling like home food. The building is old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the kitchen is kept clean. We don't have a website or do any advertising. People just know us from passing by or living in the neighborhood. Sometimes it gets really crowded and the street gets blocked with bikes, but that's just how it is. We try to work fast to serve everyone. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but it’s what we do. If you’re looking for a quick bite in Puthur, you’ll find us easily. Just look for the sign near the corner. We focus on getting the food out hot and fresh every day for the people around here.
