S.Padmavathy Educational Institutions

S.Padmavathy Educational Institutions is situated out in Murugur Village, which is part of the Trichy district. The address is 246/1 Padmavathy Polytechnic. Because it’s a village area, there is a bit more space than you would find in the middle of the city. We have several buildings on the grounds to accommodate the different things going on here. It’s an educational institution, so you see a lot of teenagers and young adults walking around, especially near the polytechnic section. The atmosphere is generally quite busy during the week. You’ll see students carrying their bags and notebooks, heading from one building to another. The buildings themselves are made of concrete and painted a simple white or cream color. They have long corridors that stay relatively cool even when the Trichy sun is beating down outside. We have a staff room where the teachers sit and grade papers or have their tea during the breaks. There are large windows in most of the rooms to let in the light. It’s not a high-tech campus with screens everywhere, but we have the labs and the classrooms that are needed for the work. People come from the surrounding villages to study here. It’s a place that has become a bit of a landmark in the Murugur area over the years. We just keep the gates open and the lights on for the students every morning. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything running, but we just get on with it.
