We've been here on Vaiyalur Road in Puthur for a long time now. Most people around Trichy know where we are, just past the main post office area. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get in through the gates before the first classes start. The weather here gets pretty hot during the afternoons, so you’ll see plenty of people looking for some shade under the old trees on campus. We have a lot of different departments spread out across the grounds. It’s not just about the books, though that takes up most of the time for everyone here. You see students sitting around the canteen benches or rushing to the library with heavy bags. Some of the buildings are quite old, but they’ve seen many batches of students come and go over the years. It feels like its own little town inside these walls once you get past the entrance. We try to keep things running smoothly, but with so many people, it’s always a bit noisy and chaotic. The staff here mostly live nearby in the surrounding colonies, so it’s a very local crowd. You’ll find us at Post Box No 615 if you’re sending anything through the mail. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stand, but the auto drivers know the way well. We see a lot of familiar faces every day at the gate. It's just a regular place where people come to learn and move on with their lives. Nothing too fancy, just the way things have been for years in this corner of the city.
