We’ve been here on Trichy Main Road in Manaparai for a while now. Most people know the spot over in Vinmathee Nagar. It is a busy enough area, but our place feels a bit more settled once you walk through the gate. Being part of the Trichy community means we see a lot of the same faces around. We focus on training teachers because that is what is needed in this part of the world. It is a lot of work day in and day out. Sometimes the classrooms get a bit warm in the afternoon, but we just open the windows and keep going. We have students coming in from all over the local area. Some take the bus, others walk. It is a straightforward kind of place. No fancy bells or whistles here, just desks, books, and people trying to learn how to manage a classroom of their own one day. We deal with the usual stuff like paperwork and keeping the building tidy. The staff knows most of the students by name. It is not a huge campus where you get lost. You just show up, do your lessons, and talk to your peers during the breaks. We like it that way. It feels more like a community than just some big institution. If you are driving down the main road, you will see us. We have been here in Manaparai for years, and we plan to stay right here.
