Rsk International School

Out on the road from Thurayur to Upplipalayam, you’ll find our school in the Venkatachalapuram area. It is a bit of a distance from Trichy city, but that makes it a quieter place for the children to study. We have a decent amount of space here, which is hard to find in the city center. The building is painted in bright colors, though the sun has faded them a little over the seasons. We get students from all the nearby villages. Our school buses are out early every morning, navigating the main roads to pick everyone up. We call it Rsk International School, but we keep things very practical and suited for our local community. We don't have all those expensive gadgets, but we have a library and some science kits that the kids use. The playground is mostly dirt and grass, but it is large enough for a good game of football. During the summer, it gets quite hot, so we try to keep the classrooms airy. The teachers live around here too, so they understand the background of the kids. We have a small office where we handle the paperwork and talk to parents about how their children are doing. It is not a flashy place, just a solid school where we try to teach some discipline and the regular subjects. It is a lot of work to keep it all running smoothly, especially with the power cuts we get sometimes, but we manage.
