Rehoboth Restaurant

Rehoboth Restaurant is located at No 64 in Crawford Colony, right here in Trichy. We are very close to Chellammal School, which is a big landmark for us. The restaurant started out because we wanted to have a place near home. It’s a quiet part of town, mostly residential. We serve the kind of food we grew up eating. It’s local stuff, cooked in a way that’s familiar to everyone around here. We don’t have a massive kitchen with fancy gadgets. It’s just some stoves and people who know how to use them. The seating area is modest. We have a few tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We aren't trying to impress anyone with decor or a big menu. We just cook what we can handle. Sometimes we run out of biryani early if the lunch rush is bigger than we thought. The staff are all people from the colony or nearby. It feels like a small family operation. We open up in the morning to start chopping and prepping. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we do. We don’t do any big advertising. People just know we are here near the school and they stop by when they’re hungry. It has been a steady journey so far in 620012. We just want to keep the kitchen going and the neighbors fed. That is our routine every single day. We are just regular people cooking for the community.
