Rama Cafe

If you go to North Andavar Street in Trichy, you will find us at number 192. We are right across from the IT college, so we see a lot of students every single day. They come in for a break between their classes or to sit and talk when they should probably be studying. The cafe isn't very big, and it can get quite loud when the college lets out. We have a few fans that hum all day long to keep the air moving. I spend most of my time making coffee and tea or heating up snacks for the kids. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but I like seeing the same faces every week. We have some old wooden tables that have seen better days, and the walls are covered in some posters that the students put up. Sometimes we run out of things like milk or sugar and I have to run to the shop next door to restock. It’s a very casual place, and we don’t mind if people stay for a long time even if they only buy one drink. My younger brother helps me out in the evenings when it gets really crowded. The street outside is always full of scooters and people walking, so there is never a dull moment. We just try to keep the place friendly and make sure the tea is strong enough for the tired students.
