Panama Restaurant

Panama Restaurant is located at No 42 A, inside the Royal Sathyam Hotel near the Tiruchirappalli Airport. Being so close to the airport in Trichy, we see a lot of people who are just passing through for a day or two. The Singarathope area is always moving. Since we are part of the hotel, we get a mix of travelers and local folks who just want a meal. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. It’s not like those big corporate dining halls you see in movies. We have a few tables and a kitchen that stays busy most of the time. The airport noise isn't too bad inside, but you definitely know when a flight is arriving. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate if you're coming on foot. The staff here has been working together for a while, so we have a good rhythm going, even when several groups show up at once. It gets very hot in Trichy, so we try to keep the place feeling alright for our guests. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit loud, and you can hear the clinking of plates from the dining area, but that's just part of how things are here. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just cook and serve. Most people find us because they are staying at the Royal Sathyam or they are waiting for a flight. We’re just a group of people making sure the tables are set for whoever walks in next.
