Ocean Delight Surfschool

Even though we are in Trichy at Melapudhur Main Road, we are all about the water. It might seem a bit odd to have a surf school in the middle of a city like Tiruchirappalli, but this is where we do all our planning and bookings. We keep the surfboards and gear stored here in our small office in the Cantt area. Most of our weekends are spent driving out to the coast with a group of people who want to learn how to ride waves. We talk about the ocean a lot while sitting here in the heat of Trichy. The walls are covered with photos of the sea and some old posters. It’s not a fancy corporate setup; it’s more like a hangout spot for people who love the outdoors. We handle the equipment, wax the boards, and sort out the transport from this address. Sometimes we sit out on the porch and talk to the neighbors about our trips. People stop by to ask how they can join in, and we just give them the details on a piece of paper. It’s a bit of a messy place with sand occasionally finding its way into the rugs, which is funny because the beach is miles away. We just like what we do and we keep things very casual for everyone.
