Out here in Musiri, things move a bit slower than the big cities, and that's fine by us. Moovanur Farmer Producer Company Limited is located right on Reddiyar Street, specifically at house number 1/159. It's easy to find if you're in the Moovanur Post area. We spend most of our mornings dealing with whatever the local farmers have brought in or what they need for the next planting. Musiri is a good place for this kind of work. The street gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but it’s home. We started this because the farmers around here needed a way to work together instead of everyone just doing their own thing separately. We aren't a giant corporation with shiny glass windows. It's just a regular building where we keep our records and meet with the guys from the fields. Sometimes the tea runs out and we have to send someone down the road to get more while we talk about crop yields. Every day is a bit different depending on the weather and the market. Being in the TK region means we see a lot of the same faces, which is nice. We know whose land is where and who is having trouble with their pumps. It’s practical work. We just try to keep things moving for the Moovanur community. It’s not always perfect, but we show up every morning and get to it. We stay busy.
