Midway Restaurant

We are located on the first floor of the A K Complex, which is right by the Tiruchirappalli Airport. The address is No 6/369. This area is known as Madurai Veeran Nagar in Gundur. It’s a bit of a walk-up to get to us since we are on the first floor. Being near the airport means we see a lot of people who are either waiting for a flight or have just landed. The MIT area is quite busy with traffic. We aren't a big chain or anything. It’s just a local restaurant we started. The space has big windows so you can see the road outside. It gets a bit dusty because of all the construction and cars, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the tables. We serve regular meals. Nothing too fancy or experimental. The staff is just a few local guys from the neighborhood. We've had some slow days when the flights are delayed, and some very busy ones. The complex itself is okay, mostly offices and a few other shops. We have a kitchen that stays busy during the lunch hour. It's a bit small back there but we make it work. We don't have fancy uniforms or a polished look. It’s just a place for a decent meal. We’ve been here for a couple of years now. Most people find us because of the sign near the main road. It's just a basic setup for folks who need to eat before their flight or after work.
