M.A.M College Student

People around Tiruchirappalli know the M.A.M College of Enggtrichy well enough since it has been sitting here for a good while. We are just the students here, trying to get through the engineering courses without losing our minds too much. The campus is out on the road toward the edge of town, and it gets pretty hot in this part of Tamil Nadu, especially in the afternoons when we are walking between buildings. Life here is mostly about the labs and the canteen where everyone gathers to complain about the exams or the latest project deadlines. We decided to put this together because we wanted a way to represent what it is actually like being here on the ground. It is not always easy, but there is a certain rhythm to the place that you get used to after a few semesters. You see the same faces every day, and the staff usually knows who is slacking off and who is actually trying. The 621105 area code is basically our home for these four years. We aren't trying to sell anyone on anything, we just wanted to have a spot for the student body to be recognized. Sometimes we have events that bring a bit of noise to the quiet campus, and other times it is just the sound of ceiling fans in the library. That is just how things go for us here in Trichy. There isn't much more to it than that.
