Kathir Tastee Biryani Centre

Kathir Tastee Biryani Centre is located at 141/2 on Simco Meter Road in Krishnamoorthi Nagar. This is part of the K K Nagar area in Trichy. We are situated quite close to Krishna Hospital, so it is a landmark many people use to find us. Our shop is not very large, and it is mostly focused on getting the biryani ready for the lunch crowd. We start the cooking early in the morning so the smell is usually floating down Simco Meter Road by ten or eleven. It is a busy street with a lot of motorcycles and people going to the hospital or the shops nearby. We have a few benches for people to sit on, but a lot of our customers just take their food to go. The walls are simple and we have a big counter where everything happens. We don't have a big menu, just the things we know how to make well. It is a bit hot in the kitchen but we are used to it by now. The staff here are just local guys from Trichy. We don't have any fancy marketing or anything. If the biryani is good, people come back, and that is how we have stayed in business in K K Nagar. It is a straightforward local spot and we are here every day except for when we need a break.
