This college is set along the Madurai Main Road in the Crawford Colony area of Trichy. It’s a large campus that stays busy from morning until late evening. You see students walking between the different blocks, carrying their bags and talking about their upcoming exams or lab work. The location is pretty easy to find if you’re coming from the main part of the city. We have different buildings for the various departments, and the workshops are usually full of the sounds of machines and students working on projects. Trichy gets quite warm, so you’ll often find people gathered under the shade of the trees during their breaks. It isn't a silent place; there is always the hum of the city from the road and the chatter of hundreds of young people. Our staff offices are tucked away in the main building where we handle all the paperwork and scheduling. We have a canteen that serves local food, and that’s where most of the social life happens. The labs have been set up with the equipment needed for the courses, and we spend a lot of time maintaining everything. It’s a straightforward environment for learning engineering. There’s no pretense here, just a lot of students trying to get through their degrees and faculty members keeping the classes running on time. The gates stay open for the buses to come in and out all day long, keeping the place connected to the rest of the town.
