Hotel Raja & Garden

We are located at No 28 & 29 on Rockins Road, which is right by the Tiruchirappalli HO railway station. Hotel Raja & Garden is a bit of a landmark for people coming into Trichy by train. The garden part is there, though it’s not some massive park, just some green space we try to keep alive in the heat. Being 620001, we are right in the middle of things. The road outside can get pretty dusty with all the traffic. We spend a lot of time sweeping the floors and keeping the lobby clear of bags. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We have different rooms for different budgets. Most people who stay here are just visiting the temple or here for business. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who do a bit of everything. From handling the registers to checking the water tanks on the roof. It’s a lot of manual work. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything, sometimes we just write things down in the ledger. It’s a bit old-fashioned but it works for us. The station being so close means we are always open and there is always someone coming or going. It’s a bit of a loud neighborhood, but that’s Trichy for you. We just try to keep things moving along and helping folks find their way.
