Guru Hotel

We've been here at 13A Royal Road for quite some time now. This part of the Cantonment is usually pretty quiet in the mornings, but then the traffic picks up as the day goes on. You can see the people heading to work and the various vehicles passing by our door. It is a simple building, nothing too fancy, just a regular place where we spend most of our waking hours. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and we just sit here under the fan waiting for the afternoon breeze. The street outside has changed a bit over the years, with new shops opening up and others closing down, but we stay put. It's just a routine for us, getting the place ready every morning, making sure things are in order. We don't really have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know how things work. There are days when the power goes out and we have to manage, but that's just how it is around here. People stop by when they are in the area, maybe looking for a place to sit for a bit. We've seen kids grow up and move away, and now they come back with their own families. It's not a complicated life. We focus on what we do and try to keep things moving. The Royal Road is always there, buzzing with its own energy, and we are just a small part of it all.
